As an environmental scientist and avid surfer from Melbourne, my family and I recently had the pleasure of staying at Laurieton for a relaxing vacation. Nestled in the heart of the main street, this eco-friendly resort provided the perfect base for our exploration. Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted by the friendly staff who ensured our comfort throughout our stay. The spacious room, equipped with a comfortable queen bed and clean amenities, offered a peaceful retreat after a day of adventures. Despite the dated decor, the value for money was undeniable.One highlight for us was the family-friendly atmosphere, with ample parking right outside our door making transitions with our young daughter a breeze. The proximity to the hotel's bistro, where we enjoyed delicious meals, and the nearby walking track along the river added to the convenience of our stay. We had a delightful time playing darts at the hotel, creating cherished memories together. Laurieton's inclusive and welcoming environment made our family vacation truly memorable.
